Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov, Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer, Chairman of the Board of EVN Macedonia Mr. Wolfgang Mayer, and Director of the Archaeological Museum of Macedonia Magdalena Manaskova visited the archaeological site Tumba Madžari on the occasion of signing an Agreement for long-term use of a plot owned by EVN located within the site.
The location being granted for long-term use today — within the archaeological site Tumba Madžari — becomes part of a living network of scientific work, field research, education, and development.
When the public and private sectors stand together — on the side of shared social values — the impact is never absent. With the signing of today’s agreement, the Tumba Madžari site gains a new perspective.
Minister Ljutkov expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Wolfgang Mayer, Chairman of the Board of EVN Macedonia, to EVN as a company, and to Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer for their continuous cooperation in the field of culture.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism supports this initiative, actively fostering cooperation between the public and private sectors, creating a broad circle of support and engagement. This partnership not only strengthens our cultural identity but also promotes the development of tourism and the economy, thereby creating new opportunities for local communities. The signing of today’s agreement is not merely a legal act — it is a sign of maturity of a community that recognizes cultural heritage as a value that only makes sense when it is jointly preserved and shared.
