Biography

Sedat Sulejmani was born in Tetovo in 1975. He graduated from Uludağ University in Bursa, Turkey. He pursued postgraduate studies at UJIE, Faculty of Social Sciences. Throughout different periods, he has shown success in business and the private sector.

He has been involved for a long time in socio-cultural activities such as:

  • Editor of the educational radio program on Radio Kanal B.

  • Founder of the NGO for culture, education, and art “Kalkan.”

  • Folklorist at “Yeni Hayat.”

  • Founder and president of the NGO for culture, education, and art “Prisma.”

  • Coordinator of the project “Brotherhood Knows No Borders” in cooperation with the municipality of Bayrampaşa-Istanbul, Turkey.

  • Coordinator of the project “Handcrafts” in cooperation with the municipality of Konya, Turkey.

  • He attended the training “International Dialogue” in Strasbourg, France.

  • He participated in the training “Balkan International Youth Conference.”

In 2020, he received the title of Deputy Minister of Culture, a position he held until 2021.

From 2023 to 2024, he served as an advisor for professional administrative support to the municipal inspectorate in the municipality of Tetovo.

He is fluent in Albanian, Macedonian, and Turkish.
